Ride a cock-horse to Banbury Cross,
To see a fine lady upon a white horse;
With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes
She shall have music wherever she goes.

the singers should also be males - not only children and females , so as to make the collection of songs more varied.
Traditionally nursery rhymes were passed down generations by the female members of the family such as mothers and grandmothers and aunts and from other little girls in the playground so I think this collection is fine as it is - thats how I learned all my rhymes and I still remember and treasure them forty years later
